Terms of use
Last updated: 6 October 2026
By creating an account or using Hisaab you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. What Hisaab does
Hisaab helps you understand your spending by organising transaction alerts and entries you add. It is an information tool. It cannot connect to your bank, make payments or move money.
2. Not financial advice
Insights, reports and answers are provided for information only. They depend on the messages and entries available to the app and may be incomplete or wrongly categorised. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice, so please check important figures against your bank statements.
3. Your account
- You must be at least 18 and use a mobile number you control.
- Keep your device and app lock secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Give accurate information, and don't use Hisaab unlawfully or try to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
4. Your data
Your transactions remain yours. You give us permission to process them only to provide Hisaab to you, as described in the privacy policy. You can export or delete your data at any time.
5. Availability and changes
We work to keep Hisaab running but can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features, and we will give notice of material changes where we reasonably can.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Hisaab is provided "as is", and iMETA is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made based on figures shown in the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using Hisaab and delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the courts of the place where iMETA is based, unless the law gives you a different right.
